Friendly staff, good food.

The first time we went the service was great and the food was very good. We went for our anniversary a couple weeks later and the staff was different and we got ill after eating there. The cook walked out of the kitchen and she didn't look like she wanted to be there and it showed in her cooking.

This place was kind enough to serve us even though we arrived only 10 minutes before closing and they were getting ready to close. The food was good. The views were fantastic. They have a lovely outdoor seating area.

Entrees were okay. The view was beautiful and the clam chowder was amazing!

Food was good but service was horrible... waited 15minutes after being seated to even get a menu, then we had to go and get our own menu. Staff had attitude, acted like we weren't important enough to be waited on.

The food was decent at best. While at the coast you expect someone that claims to have great clam chowder to be telling the truth, the chowder there is worse than a can from a store. The other food was not any better other than the crab cocktail which was good.

Great views! Nice little spot for lunch. Very small menu but enough choices to satisfy everyone. The nice flowers on the deck we're just a perk!

Great service and beautiful outdoor venue (in good weather of course). The fish and chips were great and yummy.

Wow! This place is great! Easy menu, and amazing amazing setting. Off the beaten path, this hidden gem is quite delicious. The fries are habit forming and the warm German potatoes are different good. The halibut sandwich is pleasant as the breading is light and crunchy, and the beef sandwich is tender, lean, and delicious. If you're passing through Reedsport, this would be a pleasant stop for a meal and a little relaxation. It's next to an observation deck/tower and a lovely little boardwalk. I don't normally post photos because I think the best part of adventure is discovery, but for this I'll add to help make it identifiable. Just down the highway East of here is an awesome elk viewing area with lovely views of the river (on the other side) as well

Beautiful location (the view is amazing)! They make delicious sandwiches and soup. I tried other dishes but they do a better job with the sandwiches.

Great restaurant to get lunch at. Very good sandwiches and chowder as well as the fish and chips. What hope this place off besides the great service is the amazing view of the Umpqua River. I have literally sat and ate my lunch and watched sturgeon splash out of the water. It is a sight to see, specially when it's one that's over ten feet.

Excellent in house clam chowder and fresh, crisp greens in their salad. Thumbs up!

What a beautiful place to eat lunch right on the river. The day we went the weather was perfect and it was some beautiful scenery! The food is well prepared and very tasty with good portion size. Another must try.Update 7-8-17 back again and it's another amazing day with some great food!

Cafe by Umpqua River with boat parking next to Umpqua Discovery Museum, which was converted from a fish canneries. Very friendly serving staff.

The food is great, though they don't have Dr Pepper. The specials are always something extra delicious. The view is outstanding, and the ambiance is family style romantic.

I had a great experience here at this little cafe along the river. My salad was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive. It a nice place to go to after walking the Umpqua Discovery Center tour next door.

Beautiful river view and a good take on the usual coastal seafood menu. In this COVID-19 time, know that the server and the owner, while pleasant, were not wearing masks.

Had my heart set on a local fresh Dungy salad however I had the spinach salad that was amazing. I will just call ahead to see if the crab is in. My spinach salad had chicken bacon. Asked for poppyseed dressing, recieved the raspberry instead, which was very tasty ☆☆☆☆

Excellent food! Perfect Reedsport location ... on the riverfront, great views! I wish their service was a little better but at least we were not there during a "busy" time

The fish & chips and the salmon burger were very good, but the clam chowder was outstanding! It was seasoned perfectly and had a lot of clams. Also, good view.

The service was great. Lovely outside seating area right on the water with a fantastic view. Food was average but for the price the ambiance makes this a fantastic little lunch stop. Also next door to a really cute ocean museum worth taking a peak inside!

Cute little cafe on the water. We ate here on a beautiful day and sat outside. I had the fish and chips which was delicious. The kids enjoyed walking down onto the docks. A casual spot with good food. I would have given 5 stars, but they were out of several menu items.

Great deck for viewing the Umpqua River. Food was decent. Had the chicken strips but tasted like wifes halibut. Not bad but I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere more than anything.

Could use a little broader wine selection but (outdoor) ambiance and staff were AMAZING!
